About the event
"It's important to recognize where we are in relation to the book, The Great Controversy but connect it to why it's important and timely for us to study together as a group. The language and tone of EGW writings are getting more and more difficult for this generation to engage with. We have to recognize that as part of the struggle of reading GC... We wanted to encourage folks to try to personalize/modernize her writing to make it more relevant to us today."
